Stefan Lydal (DF) is known for having very changeable views from one case to another… Skansegården is not listed. The main building is considered worthy of preservation in class 3 on the SAVE scale. This merely means that the Conservation Board must be consulted before any demolition permit.
Naturally, that has already been done. The conservation authority, the museum community, building consultants and Sønderborg Municipality’s administration have all approved demolition of the dilapidated building and have even stated that Skansegården will not take significant historical values to the grave with it. There are absolutely no substantive arguments supporting a prohibition.
Nor are there any previous cases in which Venstre has shown such a marked opposition to demolishing a building worthy of preservation. Furthermore, Skansegården’s neighbours have not experienced similar difficulties obtaining permits for demolition and new construction. See less

Stefan Lydal (DF) er jo kendt for at have meget skiftende holdninger fra sag til sag... Skansegården er ikke fredet. Hovedbygningen er bevaringsværdig i klasse 3 efter SAVE-skalaen.
Det betyder blot, at man skal spørge Fredningsnævnet til råds før en eventuel nedrivningstilladelse. Det er naturligvis allerede blevet gjort. Fredningsstyrelsen, museumsverdenen, bygningskonsulenter samt Sønderborg Kommunes Forvaltning har alle sagt god for en nedrivning af den faldefærdige bygning og endog ytret, at Skansegården ikke tager væsentlige historiske værdier med sig i graven.
Der er absolut ingen saglige argumenter, der støtter et forbud. Der er heller ingen tidligere sager, hvor Venstre har udvist en så markant uvilje mod nedrivning af en bevaringsværdig bygning. I øvrigt har Skansegårdens naboer ikke oplevet lignende vanskeligheder med tilladelser til nedrivninger og nybyggerier.
