Worthy of preservation does not mean listed. Although this has been clarified many times before, some politicians from Venstre and DF apparently still have a little difficulty understanding the difference between ‘worthy of preservation’ and ‘listed’. We understand that it can be confusing because the words are rather similar.
We would therefore like to clarify it once again: Skansegården is situated within the Dybbøl protected area. Legal professionals assess that it is primarily the landscape of Dybbøl Banke that is protected. Buildings in the area are not listed, but may be considered worthy of preservation to varying degrees under the so-called SAVE method.
The farmhouse at Skansegården is considered worthy of preservation in class 3. Consequently, any permission for demolition requires an exemption from the Conservation Board. The Board’s decision came on 17 January this year, when it granted an exemption for demolition and the construction of a new property at Skansegården.

Bevaringsværdigt betyder ikke fredet Selvom det er blevet præciseret mange gange før, virker det som om, at nogen politikere fra Venstre og DF fortsat har en smule svært ved at forstå forskellen på ordene ‘bevaringsværdigt’ og ‘fredet’. Vi forstår godt, at det kan være forvirrende, for ordene minder jo en del om hinanden. Derfor vil vi gerne præcisere det endnu engang: Skansegården ligger i området for Dybbøl-fredningen.
Jurister vurderer, at det først og fremmest er landskabet på Dybbøl Banke, der er fredet. Bygninger på arealet er ikke fredet, men kan være vurderet bevaringsværdige i varierende grad efter den såkaldte SAVE-metode. Stuehuset på Skansegården er vurderet bevaringsværdig i klasse 3.
Derfor kræver en eventuel tilladelse til nedrivning en dispensation fra Fredningsnævnet. Fredningsnævnets afgørelse kom den 17. januar i år, hvor man gav dispensation til nedrivning og opbygning af en ny ejendom på Skansegården.
