DMR vurderede at ”omfanget af konstaterede opfugtede og skimmelangrebne konstruktioner overstiger Sundhedsstyrelsens anbefalinger – og at det er forbundet med sundhedsfare at opholde sig i bygningen.Reviderede planer grundet sundhedsfare Konfronteret med de nøgterne kendsgerninger, besluttede ejeren sig derfor for at søge dispensation til nedrivning af bygningen og dermed få mulighed for at opbygge en ny ejendom på soklen. ”Jeg følte ikke, at der var andre muligheder. Jeg ønsker naturligvis ikke, at mine børn skal vokse op i et hus, der er så angrebet af skimmelsvamp, at fagfolk vurderer det sundhedsfarligt. Jeg tror, de fleste forældre vil kunne forstå min bekymring,” udtaler han.
