Ejendommen her er efter sigende ca. 300 år ældre end Skansegården og er, ifølge en lokal avis, et af de to ældste huse på Als. Dejligt at se, at forvaltningen kan komme med en anbefaling, der virker fornuftig. Venstre gik ikke imod nedrivning i denne sag.
Til gengæld må vi vel forvente, at Venstre fremadrettet går imod alle nedrivninger af bevaringsværdige bygninger. Ellers bliver det svært at forklare, hvorfor en nedrivning af Skansegården er en af de få (måske den eneste) nedrivning i Sønderborg Kommune, Venstre er gået imod gennem de seneste 20 år. Det er også tankevækkende, at den tidligere borgmesterkandidat og JydskeVestkysten ikke har brugt cirka 20 artikler og en del kræfter på sociale medier på at omtale ejendommen på billedet.
