Sønderborg Kommune hereby grants permission to demolish the property at Dybbøl Bygade 58, 6400 Sønderborg, as applied for. The building has a preservation value on the SAVE scale, meaning it is covered by section 18 of the Danish Act on Listed Buildings and Preservation of Buildings and Urban Environments. Built in 1896, it was formerly a director’s residence associated with a small factory complex now demolished.

The house is built in historicist style from yellow Flensburg bricks on a characteristic, prominent red-brick plinth. A moulded main cornice tops the facade. The facade windows and external doors are more recent and made of wood, well adapted to the original architectural style.

The roof, clad in corrugated fibre-cement sheets, does not appear original and has relatively wide eaves. Behind the gutter is a finely crafted wooden fascia board with a curved profile. The building stands slightly back from Dybbøl Bygade and is one of the increasingly few remaining properties from the 1800s along this end of the street.

The site borders the town’s sports ground to the east and a small detached-house neighbourhood to the west. The administration therefore considers that the building can be demolished as applied for.

Læs mere her: https://sonderborgkommune.dk/hoeringer/nedrivningsanmeldelse-dybboel-bygade-58-dybboel-6400-soenderborg
